How long do you think garrysmod will be alive till its gonna lose its playerbase?

A few years. It definitely wouldn't be anytime soon.

Garry's mod was released on December 24, 2004, and it's still one of the most popular games on Steam. Sure, the player base is getting a little smaller, and the release of S&box might accelerate that, but I'd say it will live for a few more years, even after the release of Garry's new game.
