Sometimes 1, sometimes 30. I usually try to keep it low or have Chrome closed altogether if I don't need it open at that point in time. If I wanna save something for later I just use Session Buddy.

well , i think tabs are the most useless thing that they ever created.
why would i change a computer which can do almost everything & buy a tab which basically is a phone with a wide screen

On average I have at the least 20 tabs. My friends look at me and think "how the fuck do you know which tab is which?" or "i only use 3 tabs."

My reaction to the last one:

It's been years since I've had less than 20 tabs open, I use Chrome which consumes alot of RAM but I'm never on a box with less than 10Gb of ram and SSD drives.
One thing that has been a lifesaver is the Tab Outliner extension for chrome.

Most of the time im only using like 10 Tabs at all, except when i need to work on something and need many documentations than it can easily go to 20-30 tabs.

I don't understand people who manage to do everything with a single tab (o/ dad). Actually 20

20-40 pretty much all the time. I constantly leave stuff open to check out later. Interesting resources, tutorials, articles etc, because I know I'm never going to check it out if it lands in bookmarks, that's another can of worms entirely. Too much stuff in many different lists to read, movies and bands to check out etc, stresses me out.
