How to Install the "Local Group Policy Editor" (gpedit.msc) on Windows 10 Home Edition
The "Home" and "Single Language" editions of Windows 10 don't come with "Local Group Policy Editor" installed like the Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions do, but it's an extremely useful tool which allows you to change tons of settings unavailable elsewhere.
SCREENSHOT:
To install (or, technically, enable) this feature in Windows 10, you'll need to:
Download the zip file below.
Extract the zip file (if you need a a zip archive extractor,7-Zip is great)
Run the "Install Group Policy Editor.bat" batch file with administrator permissions (right click, "Run as Administrator")
Alternatively, you can grab it from here which is where I got it.
Note: While I can confirm that it doesn't contain any viruses, please never take anyone's word for this and scan it for viruses yourself anyway. (If you don't have an antivirus scanner, VirusTotal is a great free web-based scanner.)
Once installed, to use it:
Open the "Run" dialog window (do a Windows search for "Run" or hold down the Windows key and press R)
Type "gpedit.msc" (without quotes) and press enter.
Enjoy!
