Find yourself a pet or clean your house. Do mini things that you can feel good about later. Make a list of tasks, reward yourself after you're done. Don't do the things you like most so when you do them you feel good about it.

just realize that every minute you spend is a second closer to you not having to go through this endless cycle

Just good pomodoro technique. I use it constantly, has worked for work, hobbies, university, writing, coding, basically everywhere I have applied it. It is all about only working in short, but extremely focused spurts. I find that if I don't look at a project as being a huge thing, but do it in bits, then I don't find it as daunting and don't put it off.

Make your goals manageable and set tasks, start off small. Do something that helps you stay motivated (I like music).
Stay away from distractions!

I would suggest making a to-do list.
Divide every task in small goals.

E.g.:
Cleaning your room, but start with your desk, take a break, then clean your bed, ... this will give a feeling of satisfaction and eventually you'll get everything done.

Smoke weed, I can't sit down after smoking I have to do something even if its cleaning, the couch potato buzz is boring, getting off your ass and doing something is enjoyable even if it's stuff you don't like, you appreciate your own work

sounds silly, but just getting started on something, or finding a hobby really helped. I feel like in order to overcome lazyness you need to be motivated into something enjoyable
