How to start mining bitcoin?

Its not even worth mining, you will lose more money then you make

Not really, if done correctly, and on a large scale, you'll actually turn a decent profit. However, home miners take the loss, just to add to the hashes and to gain some extra bitcoin in the background.

Yeah I didn't see him as a serious type.

well to start mining all you need to do is download a mining client and join a network (i'd recommend ethereum).
but mining with a normal desktop computer wont make any big bucks anymore. its way too late. you kinda need a mining system which costs way too much to make profit out of it.

if you want to invest you could buy bitcoin and hope that you can sell them for more. but overall i wouldn't recommend mining for profits.

Bitcoin mining on your own is dead. Unless you got an insane farm with 20+ computers, you will make some money. In most countries and states the electricity bill is too high to even make profit and the math problems are getting more difficult by the second.

You can buy a ASIC miner or mine with you GPU but buying a ASIC miner is much more profitable and cheaper.

I also wanted to learn how to start mining. Actually I know a bit but need more info.
