How to use phone as microphone [Tut]

You can do it in 3 ways:

Everything should be straightforward and on the website.




1. User guide - Wifi connection

Operations on Android phone:
  1. Launch WO Mic app
  2. Go to Settings menu and choose Wifi as the transport
  3. Turn on Wifi and connect it to one hotspot. Acquired IP address will be displayed on app panel
  4. Click Start to start the service
Operations on PC:
  1. Launch WO Mic Client program
  2. Turn on Wifi if it's OFF
  3. Select Connection -> Connect. Choose Wifi as transport and enter the IP address displayed on phone app panel as target device. Once you are done, click Ok.
Wait a few seconds and the client should report to be connected. You can select "WO Mic" as recording device to do recording, chatting or any other jobs.


2. User guide - Bluetooth connection
Operations Android phone:
  1. Launch WO Mic app
  2. Go to Settings menu and choose Bluetooth as the transport
  3. Turn on Bluetooth. Pair or bond your phone with PC if you have not done that yet
  4. Click Start to start the service
Operations on PC:
  1. Launch WO Mic Client program
  2. Turn on Bluetooth if it's OFF
  3. Select Connection -> Connect. Choose Bluetooth as transport and your phone as the target device. If your phone does not appear in the device list, it should be caused by that they have not been paired. Please pair your phone to PC first. Once you are done, click Ok.
Wait a few seconds and the client should report to be connected. You can select "WO Mic" as recording device to do recording, chatting or any other jobs.




3. User guide - USB connection



Operations on Android phone:
  1. Launch WO Mic app
  2. Go to Settings menu and choose USB as the transport
  3. Enable USB debugging on your device.
    • On most devices running Android 3.2 or older, you can find the option in Settings > Applications > Development.
    • On Android 4.0 and newer, it's in Settings > Developer options.
    • On Android 4.2 and newer, Developer options is hidden by default. To make it available, go to Settings > About phone and tap Build number seven times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options.
  4. Click Start to start the service
Operations on PC:
  1. Install ADB driver for your phone if you haven't:
  2. Connect your phone to PC via USB cable
  3. Launch WO Mic Client program
  4. Select Connection -> Connect. Choose USB as transport and click Ok.
Wait a few seconds and the client should report to be connected. You can select "WO Mic" as recording device to do recording, chatting or any other jobs.

Those are all bad. Get iphone. Get Microphone Pro (99cents) aux to 3.5 mic jack. turn on app, 0 latency studio sounding mic

2 weeks ago I've tried like 5-6 apps from Google Store, but always sound was kinda slowed... like lagged through bluetooth. At the moment I can't check this app. Do you know however is there lagged sound as well?
