I am in doubt about Adobe illustrator and Paint Tool SAI

Hi!
I have a brief question and a little fear about the Paint tool SAI and Adobe Illustrator software, I grew up drawing in SAI, I have all the binds decorated in my head and I know how to manipulate my drawings, but recently I noticed that Illustrator can be a little better for the reasons quality, more options to be used, among others. I have brushes that are exclusively for Illustrator and that left me in doubt about SAI.

In terms of quality, automation, ease, should I stop using SAI and start in Illustrator?

i'd say most professionals use either illustrator or affinity, so getting to know illustrator will benefit you in the long term! i don't know about SAI but illustrator is great for vector objects and is industry standard

It will only help you to learn adobe illustrator, it cannot hurt. Then you have both options

example, i like drawing in Procreate and Photoshop for different reasons, theyre both good tho.

You can't go wrong learning illustrator. It pretty much industry-standard so being conversant with it may come in handy, especially if you have to collaborate with other professionals. Coreldraw is also a popular option in some places.
