I really recommend you 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' (isn't a serie)
Or Percy Jackson
Or even The young Holden

A hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and the books after that are a favorite of mine. Would check them out if I was you.

Percy Jackson is great entertainment. It's the series that got me into reading for fun, actually.

Highly recommend this series if you want a fun read, it's not to ground breaking with its writing, however.
