I think Star wars roleplay is dying

Can anyone explain this to me? I have not played gmod for about 14 months only to find this starwarsRP is near the top of the list. What makes it so special compared to the other games apart from die hard starwars fans?

Personally, i love the MilitaryRP and Star Wars RP gamemodes. Imperial and Military are dying. However most of the Clone Wars RP are still up. So, they are still up. Many people are looking for something big and different. Many servers what have 32 slots get no attentions.

I like imperial to but there arent much imperial servers.

SWRP is shit anyways. i mean DarkRP is trash too much SWRP really is cancer. that shit is worse then HWRP

I dont think that its dying, but I do think that there are servers that are starwarsrp that are dying out after awhile of being up

Honestly anything derived from DarkRP like MilitaryRP, SWRP, etc. (ZombieRP is okay, legit) surpirsed me that it was even popular. DarkRP is garbage enough now.

StarwarsRP is for sure going down if your looking for a fun experience go do something more eye-catching i.e darkrp

I think SWRP is suffering from a similar situation HL2RP was/is in. Too many ranks are donation based - rather than being able to be earned. Additionally most communities are not accepting of new, especially inexperienced, players and often new players struggle to find people to RP with. Another major problem with "serious" and "super serious" RP servers is that there is a lack of events, interesting things to keep people coming back. I remember when I was an admin on a HL2RP server I was constantly running events to keep people about. Problem is that initially requires people to be on the server, coming back to the prior issue of new players not being accepted/able to join in to RP of already established players.

TL;DR: People are terrible to each other
