I wanted to know what operating system is better?

I wanted to know in which operating system the minecraft server is better to know how the server would be in windows or in linux? I have always had that doubt I have no idea which system is better for Linux if someone could tell me that I do not know that I can help in that: D.

I've heard that guys said for linux. It's more stable, customizable, also have some useful UI.

This is what my friend said. But in the past, I used Windows Server, bacause it needs low costs to use it.
