Finding the cure for cancer is great and all... But people are hiding it away for reasons unknown... I believe that they've already found the cure but don't want to share it for some reason or another... Government secrets dude.

If I were a scientist, I'd figure out how to cure Malaria. It's something that's killing so many innocent people near rainforests and in rural areas... and even some urban areas. It's an epidemic that nobody really knows how to solve other than chasing away some mosquitoes through the use of physical objects and nets and like spray that keeps them off you.
It'd help so many poorer countries, and people in need.

Cure for cancer is not as easy. Cancer is not a disease that pass and is everything ok. Cancerous cells are unavoidable, they are in a certain way natural, the problem is control the reproduction of this cells, that is also "natural", and with natural I mean of our own body.

Everyone's probably going to say stereotypical big diseases and things so i'll go with this on an unserious note: the common cold.

You never realize how good life is with clear sinuses and shit until you get it.

Probably Ageing, because I feel like humanity would be forced to explore space and colonise other planets because of the population growth.

Pm me if you need some help.

That's a bit tricky though, if you stop aging then the population count will grow even more rapidly and we'll be forced to colonise other planets before we're ready.

I would probably go with either cancer, aids or as Tomu said: aging. Although tricky, I am still too scared of not living long enough to see all the great things happen.
