In what genres/games game industry lacks?

Probably not the best title I've ever come up with but never the less I would like to know what do you think, what kind of games aren't in game industry enough. The way as I see it the most original field is story telling, there you can always come up with something new. But that's not always the case, for example I think that survival games (either with those stupid zombies or without) or open world sanboxesarejust too much around and probably same applies to strategic games where you command units and fight. On the other hand for example games like the sims or payday are great but they are only one in their field. Or like battle royale the trend that came last or even year before and new games are just copy and paste of current popular trend and it's not good. I don't know if it's just me who has this perspective or not so I would like to know your opinion.

milsim-like games, such as arma. everyone plays arma despite it being optimized like shit, only because nothing else can compete with the scale it has

Games like golf with friends are the best kind imo
