Yeah, I did this a while ago it increased by DL speed by around 1mb/s, ping by -2/-40.

Haven't had any improvement in download speed but definitely the DNS resolve time becomes shorter so yeah faster browsing.
Another plus is that any changes in DNS of website get reflected faster on these servers than the ISP DNS's

google dns is always best and error free most of the time, and it is very reilable
