Since January 2018, Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies started to inflate in the price.

I remember when back in old days I used to buy games and various of other things using cryptocurrenices.

Now I stopped using it.

I get depressed when I scroll back in the history of my bitcoin wallet lol. Places where I spent $100 on a game will say I've spent $2000. I've been using and hodling cryptos for a few years and made some decent money, but still sucks to see that the $100 you spent on a game is worth thousands.

And its quite the opposite, since January 2018 the prices of all cryptocurrencies has dropped. It is one of the worst years in crypto history

One of the key reasons that BTC has been decreasing in value this year is because the $20K ATH from last year was almost certainly manipulated by Tether in a heavy way. This is a pretty deep rabbit hole that goes back a number of years, but you can read about some of the story here: https://cryptoslate.com/bitcoin-price-ma...tc-demand/. Anyway, it is depressing to look back and see how much money you would have had if you just kept holding, but nobody knows the future and it is often the better decision to play it safe if you cannot afford to risk losing the money whilst holding.
