Is Gmod dying?

I have quite the suspicion that Garry's Mod is starting to lose players,i've recently been playing Garry's Mod and it just feels like no one plays. Although I only usually play Clone Wars RP or Military RP it still feels like Garry's Mod is a dead game that is not growing at all anymore. (Just saw the forum rules <.<)

Depends who the player is honestly, I feel as if it's becoming more obsolete. It's about time for a new GMOD

Yeah I agree they should make a new Garrys Mod, hopefully with a better game engine and its more optimized for modern gaming since Garrys Mod did come out a while ago but they have been updating the game time to time.

Only used it to play some sandbox with friends

Yeah, its dying pretty bad In my opinion.

Used to play it non stop, now it seema hard to find a server that I actually enjoy.

In all honesty I think Garrys Mod IS dying, I have noticed that a lot of the OG Garrys Mod gamers have stopped playing it and there are less people active on it.

No, don't tell me it's already abandoned, it's just that no one is going to sit in the same game forever every time, maybe they went to rest in a different game.

I Think It's not dead, I see like thounsands of servers on always with a lot of people,

There's still a lot of people, but it's dying in comparison to how it used to be, kind of outdated in a sense, they need a big update or GMOD 2
