Is Minecraft Alpha better than the current version?

I feel like minecraft alpha is a bit of an old version might aswell just play the later versions.

I can not say that alpha is better than the current version of the game, they are different, for me alpha is more hardcore and nostalgic

The old minecraft of yesteryear has nothing to do with today's.

I tried the old, old pre-infdev build again recently.

It brought back some good memories, but that was all.
It leaves a lot to be desired, and honestly old minecraft isn't fun alone.

Half the fun of minecraft alone is having people to play with, honestly.

If you are looking for nostalgia, yes of course. Any other reason, possibly not.
