Moyang add a lot to the game, I think that the game is in the right direction and it is unlikely that in the near future it will die

Microsoft is going to kill off updates to the original minecraft.
Eventually you won't be able to even purchase accounts for the "java eddition".

What was extremely telling is how microsoft answered the 10 year old kid who sent a letter to microsoft begging them not to ruin minecraft.
Even after reassuring the press they would not do so they still went ahead and deliberately left minecraft "java eddition" behind from the cross platform.

Ever since microsoft bought minecraft they have done some good things but IMO mostly bad things (combat update, terracotta) but hopefully this upcoming ocean update will redeem themselves :(
