Is Monero actually worth it?

My businesspartner just suggested me we should start using a Monero Miner in our website, but this was the first time I've heard about that cryptocurreny. Is that actually worth it? Is it accepted anywhere by anyone?

Do not forget to calculate the cost of electricity you spend. There are many sites that provide mining calculators, so you can calculate the profit every day.
