Is bitcoin mining worth it??

I know what bitcoin mining is and I know it can cost a shit ton of money to start but is it even worth it?? Probably wont invest in it anyways but im just curious

It's all a bubble dude, i don't recommend it, it has no future.

I think btc price will drop soon or rise. So take your risks if you want to invest in btc.

If I were you, I'd go into trading btc... Less risk & sometimes more profit. It's up to you, it's just that with mining, you're putting in a big investment for an unsure profit. But I guess the only way to make money & get what you want is by taking risks. However, it is less profitable than it used to be.

I used to BIT mine and I for once can attest that it takes FOREVER to mine and you see very little return. The hardware you need to mine is ridiculous.

From a financial perspective, no.
Buying Bitcoin will be your best bet for maximizing profit.
Buying and running mining hardware helps the Bitcoin network. And you will most likely turn a profit eventually (probably in less than 12 months for the newer models).
If you are purely after profit then just buy Bitcoin. If you want to help the network become decentralized you can buy Bitcoin and buy mining hardware OR run a full node.
Don't get me wrong buying Bitcoin does help in that there's more people holding/spending/accepting Bitcoin on the planet.

i dont think bitcoin value will increase more, and if it does, it wont be high. if you mined 10 years ago youd be rich, now just an idiot.

Yea mining bitcoin is worth because in this moment. Bitcoin have value 14k$

To be honest it's not worth it..
1. Mining rigs cost ALOT
2. Electricity will cost alot (unless you do it at your parents or something)
3. BTC is a bubble that can die any time, last time i checked it dropped to like 13$K or something? Thats from almost 20$K to ~13$K in a day or something (again, not sure.)
