Is counter strike fun?

It's alot of fun and you can train tour reflexes on it.

I rarely play legit anymore cause it's basically impossible. Just when I thought prime was safe I got multiple cheaters in my games yesterday.

Counter Strike is fun, the one issue I see (I'm sure many others see too) is the anti-cheat, it's just so bad. You'd think Valve would be able to implement some server sided check to see if someone is shooting at someone from a range which just isn't possible. Maybe it's just me... anyone else think the same thing???

Personally, I think it is one of the best games available to play on PC.
It's extremely easy to get into and pick up. I think its really fun to play but the cheaters can sometimes rain on your parade.

Definitely not as good as it was like 3-4 years ago but is still fun to play.

Generally, yes. But now that it's free, more and more hackers are playing so, unless you have Prime, you can't do anything.
