Is it considered self promotion if you Ur plugging Ur discord on a forum title?

I was replying to some kind ppl on the lounge earlier and thought "I should these notify these guys of my discord so i can know when they are dming me" and as I was doing so, I was debating to my self if it self-promotion to tell ppl ab ur discord on the forum title or its just another way to share another way of instant direct messaging. Pleaselmkbecause this got me shook asf.

I mean personally, I can see why that sounds like self promotion but I can see your point
