Is league of legend still that much popular ?

Nowaday I think that less and less people are playing LOL, this is why they are announcing new games. Riot is afraid of a slow death.

Absolutely. It's not too popular in NA but the other regions are still growing. I think EU just passed 3 million users, and the recent semi-final match set a record for viewers.

league may be going down in popularity, but riot is definetly going up, since they will be releasing a bunch of games in 2020
