Is minecraft still good?

Since 1.9, I would say it has been getting a bit worse every update. They don't really know what they're doing anymore

Minecraft is life. I've been playing for a couple years now and still haven't run out of things to do. Best time killer.

Depending on your point of view it's good, and playing with other friends is perfect.

I used to like the game however I'm starting to dislike where it is going :/

Meaningless shit, minecraft taking down servers for the game just because they want to make money to help pay for their servers.

On consoles, minecraft charging people for the shit pc players get free.
Also charging people for the content the community makes, earing profit on something they did not even work on.

It really is. With mods and the community helping so much it's always fresh and new :D

Yes, and I'm looking forward to the mine update next year

Motivation get a bit low after all this time, but mainly the community & new mods/updates still keeps me in the game
