This is a question which isn't so cut and dry. If you already have some apple devices, then the iPhone is probably something which would benefit you a lot. If you don't then it comes down to if you want a device which gives trouble-free operation and is simple to use, has a great user community for your Apple product. some phones on the Android platform do look great and offer great features for a phone, but they don't offer the right features for me to use one on a daily basis.

an example of my day. I go out and take my iPhone, might get a call, might not. I goto the coffee shop, write a few notes down in the phone. I come back home, I leave my phone in my coat pocket, and sit at my Mac. I open up my notes and continue what I started on my phone. someone then rings my phone. the call comes through on my mac, I answer it. I now have to go out so I tell the caller just a moment, then I put my coat on, and get my phone out of my pocket and continue the call. I go out to my car and put the phone in the holder. the caller messages me the address so I click it and get directions, I tell the caller I will be there in 30 minutes.

It really does depend on how you use or want to use your devices.
