Not at all, consider that there were recounts etc last election, it's a bit revisionist to think that this is a new phenomenon while there is a definite possibility that he won't be successful, I think there might be some validity to his lawsuits. It will be an interesting few months to say the least.

It is absolutely a calculated move by Trump, not because he actually thinks there's any chance he'll win, but because many of his supporters like to see him as this anti-establishment strongman who never loses. By doing this, he's pretending that he's been done an injustice, thus preserving his persona as a strongman, which will allow him to continue grifting, and possibly will help him be in a better position to run again in 2024. The unfortunate side effect, and Trump couldn't care less about this, is that this will make Americans distrust the institutions even more. And while there are a lot of US institutions that are weak, vote counts are legitimately pretty solid. So basically it's all a strategy for Trump's personality cult, and no fucks are given about the consequences.

Its revisionist to think that people are upset about recounts in themselves lol. Its asking for recounts in states that wouldn't have had recounts in literally any other election, delaying the transition, filing lawsuits, and above all, *asking elected officials to throw out votes* lmao
