Last time I played LoL was in S2 and S3. Isn't it dead yet? I saw a twitch stream of it and holy shit it's such a cluster fuck rn.

Definitely not dead, and I wouldn't call it a cluster fuck either. The graphics got much cleaner over the years. The basic concepts of the game haven't changed, they introduced some new things but you would get used to them after a week or two of actively playing again.

If you are into MOBA, there is no shitload of choices for you. So it will always have a big community until MOBA dies.

Playing since the first year. Some people hate changes that Riot makes, but without those changes, I wouldn't be here still playing it. It's as much (if not more) alive as it was in the past.

It isn't dead and I doubt it will die for years to come considering it still keeps releasing content and is a popular game in the streaming industry and has the eSports tournaments.

Nope it is not, (or not yet at least)
RIOT the company behind it is trying so hard to keep it alive by making changes evecry patch (usually ever 2 weeks) , releasing new chamions every 2-3 months (Ther is 140 of them now) , and reworking (both graphicly and gameplay wise) old champs that do not fit into the new design concepts of the game.
In addition to that they are orgnazing yearly 2 worldwide championship (Worlds and MSI) that are big e-sports events costing millions of dollars to put up and do attract a lot of new players to the community.
So i think LoL is pretty 'healthy' as a game for 6 or so more years.
