The ingame config can be opened by typing [b]zpf_config_open[/b] in the console or [b]!zpf_config[/b] in the chat.

The script comes with a default Job which gives the player a Pickaxe/Multitool and a workbench. Anything else can be crafted in the Workbench.

All items can modified and changed here > zpf_config_items.lua
Here is a simple example of a item config which can be crafted in the Workbench/Assembler using other Items.

The Multitool can be used to harvest resources and construct / place machines.

The Workbench gives the user access to all items which he currently can craft.

The Research Lab allows the user to research new Item Recipes and Machines.
  • Depending on the research it needs diffrent ResearchKits.

  • Researchkits can be crafted in the Workbench and the Assembler.

  • The players research progress can be saved according to his rank. See > zpf_config_main.lua > zpf.config.Research.ranks

  • Certain Research Branches / Level can be Rank locked.

  • Research Level need to be researched in a sequential order.

Machines / Connections
Some machines can give their items to close facing machines. (Green Line)

Resource Spots

Resource spots are areas where ores can be harvested.
  • You can create your own ores in the item config (zpf_config_items.lua) and select it in the Resource Config ingame.

The Drills automaticly mine ore.
  • Artifacts can be randomly found by drills. See > zpf_config_main.lua > zpf.config.Drill.Artifact

  • When placed near a Storage, Melter and Drill it automaticly gives its items to the facing machine.

The Melter automaticly melts ore.

The refinery automaticly refiners items like oil to plastic.

Item Cannons

Item cannons are a simple way to move items in large amount from A to B.

The Drone Hive automates all machines in proximity.
  • The Hive will send out drones which collect items and move it to machines which need them.

  • The Hive comes with a Skin Selection menu which allows you to change the type of drone and particle effect.

  • Diffrent Drone skins will improve the drones values like Speed and Item Capacity.

  • You can add more bots to the hive which can be gather by selling artifacts.

Provider Chest

Storage Chest

Magnetic Chest

When turned on attracts items in proximity.

Rocket Silo

The Rocket Silo lets you sell your End Products to the OffWorld Trading Company.
  • Rockets are made out of a Booster and Payload Capsule which needs to be crafted first and put in to the silo.

  • Diffrent Types of Boosters and Payload Capsules change the Rocket Speed and Inventory Slot count.

  • If you sell Artifacts then the OffWorld Trading Company will reward your with Bonus Items like UpgradeKits and more Bots.

UpgradeKits improve the Speed and Interaction Radius of machines.
  • You can get upgradekits by selling artifacts.

The Recycling machine can be used to convert items or other entities in to there raw materials. See > zpf_config_recycler.lua

Fun to play with but kinda buggy and very bad for the Performance. Use Item Cannons instead.[/font]
