Laptop vs Desktop

Im looking to get a new home computer and I cant figure out which would be better for me and my family. It will be used for me for general stuff, my 10yo son for homework and my 4yo daughter to play educational games.

Lenovo Or Dell Notebook best Design and Performance Intel I7 and SSD Sata or M2 SATA

The question is whether the computer always stands in one place or you want to take the computer also from wonders. a laptop is easily transportable.

i own a laptop and i say it depends on what u wana do
if u wana be on the go or move alot a desktop is a nono
else just take a desktop more power and overclocking ^_^
