i really really despise escort missions, especially ones where you have to start all over again

I hate when they make the enemies bullet sponges on harder difficulty

Escort missions truly are the bane of my life. If I've seen that section of the map before 10 minutes of me walking into the 'new location' is not the one.

i really liked playing Splinter cell as a kid, played recently and the mechanics suck

I find escort missions quite frustrating – the constant need to protect NPCs can be challenging and disrupt the flow of the game.
