LoL Russia still having events that give a lot of chests?

I remember reading a thread on reddit a while ago where it said that riot russia uses the clubs really well by holding events and basically awards you with a shitton of chests and keys. I'm wondering if this is still the case cus I'd definitely be down to make an acc there and transfer later lol
