This is not a simple logo.

Finding a font and sticking an image in the middle is not ideal for a logo. You won't build trust with your clients if you have a logo like that, trust me.

Some key points to take into consideration when designing a logo.

- Consistency: Thickness of shapes and lines, are they consistent, meaning, are they the same size/ratio throughout. This logo has zero consistency. Because you just used a font and stuck an image in the middle.

- Flexibility: Does your logo look good black and white (not grey scale). If you took, for example, a boat logo, and took the colors out of it (black lines, colors replaced with just white) does it still look like a boat. You wouldn't be able to do that with this design.

- Scalability: Will your design lose detail when it shrinks in size. And no, I don't mean pixilate. For example, if you took your "logo" and shrunk it, your laptops details would be destroyed. This ties in to consistency. It good to have even spacing and thick enough line work, which you logo does not have because it isn't vector, nor does it have line work, besides the font.

I would go on, but you have long ways to go before you can make simple logos. Making simple logos isn't all that easy. You have to take a symbol or idea and be innovative and intuitive in how you represent it. Not only that, you have to incorporate text that goes along well with the design with is a whole seperate issue.

Look at logos done by popular companies and look at all the points I mentioned and look for them in those logos.
