I'm also interested in this, is there a way to transform a BSP into a VMF?
Because I tried with BSPSource and VMEX but I can't transform the bsp of SouthSide DAY

I'm pretty sure you can use gmad for this. If you have the map downloaded via steam (Your subscribed to the map on the steam workshop.) it should create a .gma file in your addons folder. If it didn't create this .gma file in your addons folder, it was probably created in your gmod workshop folder. To find this folder, use the "browse local files" feature on steam. it should bring you to a file path that looks somewhat like this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod". If your gmod is not installed on your c drive, your file path will look a bit different, but it will still bring you to the place you need to be at. Once at this file path, you need to use the back arrow twice to bring you to the "steamapps" folder. Once in here, navigate to "workshop", then "content", then "4000". You should then see a bunch of folders named with random numbers. These numbers correlate to the workshop ID of the specific addon. To find the workshop ID, simply find the addon you want on the workshop, then copy page url, paste it somewhere, and the ID is the series of numbers within the URL. Once you find the correct folder, you should be able to simply drag the folder overtop of gmad.exe and it should start decompiling. Once done, it should spit out a seperate file with all the things you need in it. This process is exactly the same if found the .gma file in your addons folder. Simply drag the .gma over top of your gmad.exe and it should do the same job.
