Was microsoft smart buying minecraft? I personally think yes because they have made alot of profit since...

Seems pretty late and random, in recent events however, the buying of Bethesda is certainly a long awaited move, which will hopefully bring Bethesda back on track.

they have done a pretty good job with minecraft, I just wish they were more frequent with their big updates.

I would say yes. Minecraft is so much more than just a game now. people are building so many crazy and complex structures in there. its almost an 8bit modeling engine.

I still remember the old Halloween update that brought jack-o-lanterns and shit. If you died you lost everything and it wasnt recoverable. Microsoft is at least nice enough to QA their code...

As long as Microsoft puts time and money into what they buy it usually turns out well. On the other hand if they just buy things to buy then then no.
