Minecraft Dying?

Is minecraft a dying game? Is the playerbase going down or not moving? And whats the best version? Thoughts?

No. Minecraft just exploded on gaming news lately because of the Harry Potter server that went online. That, and the fact that LPers on Youtube are still playing it to death after Pewdiepie made a killing replaying it not too long ago.

I think Minecraft will end up like World of Warcraft in the sense it will always be profitable, no matter the periodic drops, and new releases of content will always bring the playerbase back for a while.

hypixel has become more popular then ever reaching 90k people online at once on some days, so i really dont see the argument of minecraft dying

I don't really see Minecraft dying in the foreseeable future, and Minecraft is gaining members not losing members.

I personally think it's a playerbase thats mainly made up of kids but, adults also tend to play it frequently as well.
