Minecraft will live past 2020?

It will probably live to see that day because of all the minecraft memes and old players coming back to it to reminisce their old memories.

It's gonna live as long as there is players, so i think it has some time left

Yeah agreed with most other people here, it's a great game and very unique, with a bunch of things you can do from it, like play modded versions, online with friends, make servers and a ton more. Its still a really popular game and I reckon it will live for a while longer...

Of course, it will live past 2020, it's a great game which helped popularized indie games. A game that achieved such heights simply can't be forgotten, and it won't lose its player base that fast. I've seen people say that Hytale will kill Minecraft but it won't. At the end of the day, Hytale is just pretty much a rip-off of Minecraft, and it's pretty hard to imagine a mere rip-off taking away the immense player base Minecraft has. Do you really think all of the multiplayer servers will migrate to Hytale? Of course not, setting up a good multiplayer server takes a lot of time, time that few people are willing to spend again. Furthermore, Hytaledoesn't run on Java, meaning that all of the plugins and mods will also have to be redone. I just think it's too much of a hassle to migrate to another game which is just too similar to Minecraft. So yeah, as I said before, Minecraft will live past 2020.

Minecraft is one of the most complete game in the world. It will always have its place

Yep it will and they will add some resources and mod packs :3

Of course it will live past 2020, there's still hundreds if not thousands of players still playing the game everyday

i think yes, minecraft is almost impossible to kill, even with the show of other games like it aka hytale, yes surely the playerbase wont be the same, but as 8 and up years old children show minecraft wont die

Why do you think it will die? I see a lot of people talking about Hytale and things like that, Hytale will never reach Minecraft, it's just a kind of rip-off imo.
