Minecraft will live past 2020?

I believe Minecraft will always have players. I remember playing Minecraft during the beta! Still kicking strong today.

Minecraft will live to the end of time... best single player plus multiplayer game ever made.

minecraft is just one of those games anyone can pick up and play, its laidback and its a game you can play whenever you dont feel like doing much

Yes ofc, there's so many mods out there, you can't get bored on this game, you can just change your server and its a new experience.

I think the illusion of the community dying is just from the fact that we're growing up. The game is clearly marketed towards kids and isn't really treasured as this amazing, infinite procedurally generated world to explore anymore. Despite that, I definitely still see it being both supported by that younger community and utilized as an educational tool for a long while to come.

It probably won't just like other games it will probably die off..
