Neither. Both of them are too "big for their britches", Any mine craft server i play on i look for a non-network small community server. These servers typically take the time to get to know their users while still providing fun activities for them to do. If it is minigames you are looking for, I will recommend Brawl.com as a good server network.
Mineplex is an actual minecraft partner, but it is soo nasty, the concept of the games that Mineplex has is stupid and too much young people play minecraft, Hypixel is where you would find youtubers and really famous minecraft players, and hypixel gameplay and gamemodes are much smoother than mineplex.
