I don't have a good voice, thats a fact but I've always been interested in making music. As cringe as EDM is to me it wouldn't require any vocals to make. Any tips on what programs and pre-recorded loops to use? I don't have a macbooknor am I interested in another way to use Garage Band.

I hate step music.

I would definitely encourage you to learn to play an instrument first. preferably Piano/Keyboard. Reason being, it will make things a whole lot easier for you to create. Understanding key signatures and which chords work where..THEN I would dive into something like FL studios. its super easy to use, its slowly becoming an industry standard program, and it makes editing loops and mashing it up SUPER easy..Good Luck!

I use FL Studio because it's what I first learned and what I've gotten stuck to. I think you should just find a DAW and go with it. You'll learn as you go along. Just create stuff!

Fiverr can be a good place for vocalists - I've found a few there. Takes some searching and can get expensive, but you can certainly find someone who will put down some nice vocals on the track you create. Not as good as a real-life writing partner, but a pretty good substitute.

I've been producing stuff for almost 5 years and I can't sing for shit. Singing is only another instrument that you can go withoutIMO.
I'd recommend FL Studio, since it's the one DAW I'm using.
Get the plugins Xfer Serum, Sylenth1, Nexus 2 and NI Massive. They are the most common and usable as you can find a lot of presets for them.
Watch tutorials on youtube, and I mean A LOT OF THEM. Look up mastering and study how songs are structured. It takes time to git gud in music producing.

If you ever need any help with music producing, just DM me and I'll help you as much as I can :awoo:

Accordion to a recent survey, replacing words with the names of musical instruments in a sentence, often goes undetected.

You could maybe try FL Studio its a simple and easy program to start out on.

Although FL Studio may be simple as suggested it is still as advanced as any other DAW I have seen and maybe more advanced than the more complicated DAW'swith a simpler interface. If your voice is not perfect as you mentioned I would also suggest a plugin called autotune by antaresit can do lil wayne style singing or if your going for more authentic voice it can make you sound more tuned while your singing may not be.

I do feel the need to mention that the closer to pitch as you can make it does make the resulting sound better.

EDIT: Music theory is a must when your learning music remember 1st 3rd and 5th to get the notes from a scale
