My First Userbar

Idk if you're going for this design but it kinda has a Google, material feel. It's all very square

i was talking about my first userbar i made, and it looks like shit! x)

Looks definitely better than some of my first tries. I like the 8-bit style look to, such as the stripes and the Crown.

yes i know. i wanna get better and use vector shapes but for now im using the 8bit at practice.

If you actually look up crown on google images you most likely will see the crown i based mine off of hehehe

I like it though, you should do more, I really liked that style. Would love to see more!

Don't ever use anything from google or outside sources. Not using stuff online helps you grow, to make your own things from scratch. For references it's okay to look at sources. This is pretty darn good for a first UB. I can tell you a lot of things to help you out, but you'll figure that out later on if you choose to pursue ub designing.

Try being more consistent with your design. For example the thickness of the line on the bottom is higher than the 6 lines on the side. The reason why I was able to pull off my userbars was consistency, designing everying pixel by pixel.
