Fortnite is a game that I played a long time ago (season 5), and I really enjoyed it. But now the game just keeps getting worse and worse. So lets go back to seasons 15. These times were peaceful, and there where lots of noobs, and to be honest, we were all noobs too. At the time, the game was different and easy. I could just go to my friends house and we would take turns playing and enjoying ourselves. But then the later seasons came, and the game got worse. The community got bigger, which was ok, but a lot more toxic and troll-like players arrived, and the game just became unpleasant to play, mostly because the people would make fun of my default skin, yell in my ears about doing something wrong, and just cussing and racism became repetitive in my voice chat. Now, you can say I could of just turned off voice chat. But I wanted to meet new people and make friends, especially because I was a nerd and no one really liked me. Gaming was and still is my escape from reality, and my favorite game was turning into a name calling competition. Online gaming is a way to connect and make connections with people. Why do we get angry at each other! Cant we just be nice to our teammates and have a good time? I know Im sounding like child, but come on. Do you know how much stuff my brother has broke over this game?! A LOT. Controllers, headsets, you name it. I get that losing gives you mind a sense of anger, and lashing it out on other stuff is common. But come on! Well, back on the topic of Fortnite, I quit playing this in season 8. It just became overwhelming and I became more happy just not playing it. Of course, my 13 year old brother has begged me for the past 2 years to play it, and every time I have to give it to him, or hell tell my parents. Even when Im doing my own thing on the console. I also want to play the console, but no, my brother gets his way. By the way, Im 15 and own the playstation 4, the controller and the tv hes playing it on. The only thing he has contributed to the console is a headset, which only he is allowed to use. Also note, the controllers he has broken had to come out of my wallet. And what did he pay to make up for it? 16$. Thats it. And not only that, but he got to keep the broken controller. THAT I SPENT 45$ FOR. To be fair, I did hit the controllers every once in a while, usually due to playing Call of Duty and Fortnite, and I broke my own headset once, but Fortnite has ruined by brother. I hate what Fortnite has done to me and my family. I thought about just deleting the game or putting parental controls on my brothers PlayStation account, but I didnt do it, knowing I would be told on, and grounded. Not only that, but he broke my remote for my tv. I just really dont like Fortnite. The game is repetitive and toxic, and I never plan to return to it. Thanks for reading.

It's a fun game where you can do many things. I don't see a competitive game for many aspects. I see it more like a game to have fun with friends
