i found it really risky to invest... i invested in it 5 years ago and now i dont want to do it again

The main problem I have with all these Icos is there business case for early investors. Sure, some of the block-chain technologies sounds great and might even gain buy outs from big corporations. But they wouldn't need the token; only the technology. so who's going to reward these early adopters for their tokens?

Basically what I did to start was watch youtube videos, get a wallet, then do some simple faucets. Then branching into more and more altcoins can really save time.

well first id pick a currency that you like i.e. dog coin thats a godo way to start
