I use both PC & Laptop for gaming, laptop is far more accessible, you can take it practically anywhere and play some simple but enjoyable games. For FPS, PC without a doubt. Laptop wins for pure convivence, as most games I play are just as easy on Laptop (Like Hoi4, Civ 6, etc.)

I have a mix of PC and laptops at home. The key point about PC's is it's so much easier to fix and upgrade compared to laptops. You also get the most bang for your buck so if you are a gamer, you have to go with PC. I have some laptops where upgrading the mechanical HDD to SSD was not smooth at all. I had to unsnap the plastic housing to get to the drive. I broke a plastic tab in the process and now i have this annoying piece rattling in the laptop as I don't dare opening it up even more to get that piece out.

But a laptop is definitely very convenient when browsing the web and lounging around the family room.

Get both if you can. I prefer a PC in general, because of the modularity, performance and better cooling possibilities. Get additionally a low budet office laptop for mobile working an lurking to get the best of both worlds.

I would say that the laptop is more for works, and PC for games

I prefer the PC, it is more convenient for me, as well as multi-functional and supports everything I need.

pc for games and work and notebook only for work, as the notebook gets very hot, reaching 194 F

Desktop all around for me. Easier to upgrade and clean when needed. A laptop is awful to take apart and get rid of all the dust build up

Depends. If you travel alot, a laptop is great. But if you stay alot home, the pc works perfectly.
