Hey guys what do you think about the plastic toilet nuts and bolts (sioux chief, lyncar etc), have any of you used them? Whats you experience?
Personally I like them, easy to cut, no rust over time. The only thing is to not over tight them otherwise they break easy. Any thoughts?

They are good for ceramics and are good to use with toilets because they do not get rusty. You are right; they are easy to break, especially if used improperly, but it seems there is nothing to change them.
I thought about using silicone for this purpose, but its not that reliable, and it would be problematic to change the toilet seats if needed. Thats why I just order those plastic bolts from Scrooz in advance and just have them at home in case of any issues with the toilet.
Such bolts can also be used in other cases when strength is not important at all.
