Please don't use leaks

Why do you want to use leak addons?

I strongly advise against using leaks whether for a server or for your personal use!

First, leaks can be dangerous ... Especially because of the backdoors, you would risk having its on your server and you might well be disappointed with the result: people will come to your server to do what they want, be superadmin, change the map and more ...

Then, when you download a leak, you use someone's work without even thanking them ... Think of all the addon creators who take time to renew the game and you, you use their addons without even thanking them or give them some money. An addon isn't expensive compared to the work which it requires, the majority of addons on gmodstore are around $ 10 so if you can't afford to spend $ 10 then don't try to create a server with paid addons because it will be expensive...

So we saw that the leaks were dangerous and were not respectful for the creators but if you don't care about that, imagine that you use leak addons on your server and that you manage to create a good community. One day your community will learn the truth and you will be frowned upon by many people!

For me, the most important point is that concerning the creators, you should feel ashamed to use leak addons without even that the coders are rewarded for their work ... Also think that if you use leaks, you will be banned of all sites of addon sales (GmodStore ...) and the majority of the community will be disappointed with you!


This is why, I give you a piece of advice: DO NOT USE LEAK ADDONS !!!


I'm voluntarily posting this message here because I know there are a lot of people out there just to leak :( Please don't!
This forum can also bring the Garry's Mod community together

Tbh I find it bullshit that you have to pay for these addons, I mean look at other games?
Minecraft has a shit ton of mods / plugins, hours and hours of work has been put into those and the only thing those content creators care about is that you like what they made.

Also the prices are ridiculous but that's just my oppinion tbh.

well its your choice to use leeked addons. And yes we may not be " Thanking them" but either way we shouldn't have to pay fore thees, or high price's. maybe 1-7 pounds would do.

Fair but I mean look at zombies for example, Bo3 and Cod WaW I can tell ya way more effort and hours are put into those custom maps and they're all free on the workshop

Well, best example is Pointshop2. No more updates and if you still want to use the addons you have to use leaks.

Well, each addon cost 5-10$, and when you need 5 or 6 of them, you will feel how your money vanish into thin air. So, everything must be free. I think so

Also a lot of the older addons cannot be obtained any other way anymore as the coders "disable" them on the store

Minecraft also has paid addons/plugins. Also it is fair, for the amount of work they're putting into their work, and to bring out consistent updates for the mod as well as fund any future mod.

Just one post ain't gonna stop people from using leaks... there are many websites and people make their own choices and risks about this stuff.
