Perhaps there are moments in each one of our lives

where we finally come to terms with all of our lies.
Maybe there comes a day when we all recollect
about all of the broken pieces left to protect.

Have we ever questioned why this still occurs?
Why the line of morality - how it so constantly blurs?
There are moments in my days when I grasp my deceit,
days where I soon am encompassed by defeat.

However I am attempting to live beyond what I once was,
this once loud noise is attempting to become a melodic buzz.
There are still moments when I lose my trained thought,
when feelings of darkness surface and return me to where I once fought.

It's similar to a systematic labyrinth, with mazes within.
To the greatest puzzle of Daedalus it is strikingly akin.
Our minds appear simple but in truth they are not,
they take note of everything, wins, losses and dreams sought.

The present is a puddle rippling with change
the surface is brimming with ideas to exchange.
No longer is this poet a single ripple in the now,
I am becoming something greater than what my past would allow.

With wrongdoings and misfortunes from every which way,
I still try to look forward to the upcoming day.
A simple man attempting to fix what has been broken,
a life given to another as a menial token.

With all rainy days there soon comes a moment of shine,
that is when you shall all see my greatest rhyme.
When the watery eyes no longer cause pain
and when all of us - our strengths to regain.
fady is a stupid cuck boi - silence
