So I've been a member of pokerstars for a couple of years already. Deposits and withdrawals using neteller was always instant which must have changed recently.
I had $11 which I wanted to try out on the poker tables, and of course pokerstars was my first choice. I made the deposit and was looking for a few $3 to $4 tournaments to play in. Unluckily for me I just got more work to do. I decided I could rather use the $11 for a shutter stock photo that I needed and placed the withdrawal. That was a week ago. Since then they wanted proof of my id and a bunch of stuff to verify what they need to be verified according to their TOS, I sent everything they need and the communication just died away after that.
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/int...ndex4.html is a link to another forum where you can read about other players have more or less the same problem. Our circumstances are different yes, but the basics are still the same. Very long waiting times and poor communication.
I am an affiliate of pokerstars as well, so I just let them know what is going on and waiting for a response from them. Something that literally only takes less than 24hours is being dragged out to the limits because I think the people that read my emails are trying to spite me because I called them clowns
My parents told me that speaking the truth was the only way, so me telling them they are clowns is a softer way of telling them they are idiots.
Because of my aggro emails about their very very very poor service all of a sudden I know they are trying extra hard to drag this out or find some loophole that pokerstars is notorious for doing like when they stole their affiliates commisions after their TOS was exploited to their benefit ~ again.
But I suppose I must also say thank you to pokerstars the online poker giant. Why? Well they are slowly killing their own business. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that crypto currency will be replacing currency as we know it in the future. They are just making it easier for the BTC casino's to get more clients. I am a member of the GPWA and even they say online poker business is becoming extinct. They can't compete with the new alternatives that becoming available daily.
I'm going to send everything they asked from me again to everyone who responded to me on email, also going to have a chat with PS AM and when I'm done with these fools I will never do business with them again. The only thing I will do is to publish reviews on all the affiliate websites about their stinky service which should be avoided. I will give them all the negative PR I humanly can.
The only way I'll drop it is if someone with some brains contacts me saying how sorry they are for wasting my time, they need to tell me exactly what was going on and why they took so long.
Now if one of their customers that have been with them for years are having so much problems, what service do you think new players will get?? Stay away from them. As far as you can. You might be thinking ah it won't happen to me. I'll verify everything before I deposit. AND then there will be no problem, right?
http://www.bestoddscorp.com/blog/2014/09...-accounts/ is yet another thread about Pokerstars screwing their super~affiliates. These people are out of control.
So be warned! If you want to play online poker I highly recommend 888poker. The are the second largest online poker room and they have promotions non-stop 24/7. I joined 888poker around the same time I joined PS and 888poker has never let me down.
Learn from mistakes and hope everyone reading this is better informed about how things can go wrong even if you are in the right side of the laws/agreements/tos.
