From using one of his lyrics in every bio I have ever, to using visuals from his music videos on my signature / art on any site. It's no surprise that I was extremely excited for this release when it was announced.
and it honestly didn't disappoint at all.
Call me a fanboy, but the more I listen to this song, the better it gets. It's definitely rising in my top favorite songs every time I listen to it. It reminds me of the first time I heard Worlds, and couldn't stop listening to songs like Divinity or Flicker. It's honestly ridiculous how he can still do this. But that could be my bias fanboy talking idk
The only two criticisms that I have for it as of now is that it seems to end too abruptly, but maybe that's a good thing when it comes to the context of the album. I would've absolutely adored this song if there was a sort of breakdown after the second chorus, getting slower and shit. I have no ideas because I'm no good at this shit, but it would've been so sick. then the chorus comes back and oh god it would've been so damn gooooood. Also, the music video looks kinda silly. Mainly because porter just looks funny throughout the entire thing. I don't see him as this pop star type dude so seeing him perform like this is new. The effects are ridiculously cool though.
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
