One of the longest running television series to date is the Power Rangers. The first season we got here in the US was the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which was loosely based around the Super Sentai series released in Japan. This first started airing in 1993, and I used to watch the show all the time growing up! Lately my wife and I have been rewatching the first season of Mighty Morphin, and boy it aged bad. The acting was okay for the time, some of it sucked though. I don't get why the creators thought they needed to dub over some of the actors, it just sounds odd. As a teenager I also watched a bit of Zeo Power Rangers, Power Rangers in Space, Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force, Ninja Storm, and Dino Thunder. I also tried giving SPD a watch when it first aired in 2005, but the acting was even worse than the acting in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Tommy was always my favorite ranger, and as I child I wanted to be him. I even had a crush on Kimberly too. I know it's still on the air, and currently airs on Nickelodeon here. I haven't watched any of the new seasons so I'm not even sure if the acting improved over time. What are your favorite seasons of the series? Who are your favorite characters?

Yes I definitely recommend it, just to at least get a laugh at it. The earlier episodes had some strange editing, and the acting was subpar but you would probably find it entertaining. I generally do remember enjoying Lightspeed Rescue more than Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Zeo seemed better as well too. Thankfully with Power Rangers, you don't necessarily have to watch all the seasons in order, but lots of older characters make cameo appearances in later seasons, so it adds to the charm if you remember who they were.
