VSCode for sure. It has the best feature set and are continuously upgrading their app and extensions on a monthly basis.

I use visual studio code! They have good plugins but simple text editor like notpad++ still my favorit

For php,html,css always has beed used Notepad++ simple yet perfect, also has bunch of addones

I mainly use WebStorm, it is a amazing IDE for JavaScript development.

Personally I use Brackets from brackets.io. It's lightweight, and also can deploy folder as Project based ediiting. So All files on the project's folder is added. We also can search text/string in all files in the project. Pretty good and simple for a beginner.
