To answer the first part I would say yes do that.
The second part if it's saying your services are fine then it's probably an individual issue and you'll need a tech.

If you need to pay for an engineer visit that is just crazy considering that you'll have had issues. Check their SLA in case they try pull that. If they cannot get you an engineer within SLA they have to go further.
